Ode to the Mom Cave: Round 2

Well, I've accidentally successfully completed my first project for my Mom Cave!

You can click HERE to read all about the flower pillow.

But the room still basically looks like this:

So here's my Ode to the Mom Cave:

Oh, that I had a mom cave
A place to call my own
No one touching my trinkets
At least 25 square feet to roam

It won't cost much to tackle
Two hundred fifty should do
I'd conquer the paint and curtains
And my old desk would transform to new

I'd frilly my bare naked walls
Fix the sad window trim rust
Pull out some fancy pillows
And organization is a must

As I'm new to the blogging world
And just bought my first home, it's true
I'd love to start with some moo-lah
And spread aloha from me to you

With a little luck, and some expert shopping, I'd love to add some of these to the space:

  1. Love your first project for your mom cave, the pillow is beautiful! Just stopping by to say Hi from the "Cave Party"

  2. Your pillow is a gorgeous project. I love that idea.It turned out so pretty. Thanks for the tutorial. It looks like something that would be fun while watching TV

  3. wow, if that pillow is any indication of what you are creating for your mom cave, it will be great! Lezlee

  4. Your pillow is so, so pretty! I want to try that project; hopefully I will. I have quite a project list going right now...

  5. Wow! Thanks, ladies! I'm feeling the love. :) Please check back in on my blog. I'll be starting a countdown to Christmas on Friday by doing the 50 Days of Silver and Blue. I'll be decorating my home in those colors for the holidays. Mahalo!

  6. What a great poem! You should win on that talent alone! If you can come up with that little diddy, who knows what you could create in a Mom Cave! You've made a great start with the pillow!
Love Silver and Blue so will be back! I'm a follower!

I LOVE your comments! They're the reason I blog. If you've used one of my tutorials or found them helpful, I'd also love to see pics! You can post them on my FB page or send an email: attemptingaloha @ gmail . com
