NEW PAGE - My Personal Linky Home Tour - Opinion, please?

Aloha!

One of the most frustrating things for me as I've started enjoying more and more blogs is the difficulty in finding and viewing all of a blogger's previous posts. It seems like I'm constantly trying to view their "home tour" photos and wondering, "where did she get that?" or "how did she make that", and sometimes they're really good at posting links into one general page for a specific room, but mostly, it's just really hard.

SOOOO... I really wanted a way to showcase ALL of my projects, so readers can easily see what I've been working on with all of them laid out and viewable, so they can click to their (your) heart's content on the ones that strike your fancy.

So my personal linky home tour page was born!

I've used LinkyTools (free) and created separate linky parties for each room in my home (I also updated the Blue and Silver Christmas to be a linky party as well). So now you can easily see thumbnails of each of the projects, organized by room. I can open and close the linky parties easily, so I can add new projects as I post them daily. :)

Whaddya think? Is this easier for you to see projects? Have you had similar frustrations as you've explored the bloggy world?

If so, spread the love and start your own Personal Linky Home Tour! It'll take some time on your part (took me a couple hours, and I only have about 2 months worth of content!), but your readers will thank you!!

Aloha and Mele Kalikimaka,

Charlie

  1. This is a great way to organize projects! I just became familiar with linky a few weeks back when I started my Creative Juice parties, and I was considering this...

    Great idea!!

  3. Hi Charlie~

This is a great idea! I am going to check out what you have done! It does sound like it would be a little bit of work, but would probably make a blog more user friendly. I should probably invest the time! :)

I hope you are doing well this week, and that you have a wonderful Christmas!

    Blessings,
