Aloha!
In true procrastinator fashion, I finished the gift for my daughter's teacher this morning! The poor thing was begging me to hurry as I (of course) had to take pics before lovingly wrapping it while she was shoveling oatmeal down. Just another typical school morning! Ha!
Luckily all the design work was done last night, and I only had to print and glue it to one of my $5 Walgreens clocks this morning. It really only took me 10 minutes to put it together. Super easy. Read my
Parisian Clock or my
Union Station Clock for details on how I cut out and put them together. But here's how this one started:
Add some numbers and a bunch of words that remind me of teachers, along with my daughter's teacher's name, and you have a lovely, personalized, $5 Christmas gift!
I love, love, love this idea and would like to make a clock for myself...

I've seen many takes on subway art, but I love the idea of placing it where we see it unconsciously, on a clock.
ReplyDeleteThat would make a fun place for resolutions for a vision board.
Thanks for inspiring me! Following you now so I remember this project.
If you have a minute, please link this up to my creative juice party...
