Ummmm... Yeah, I'm Still Alive...

So I could give you a long list of excuses as to my whereabouts for the las couple weeks like: My daughter had her adenoids removed and had a miserable recovery. Or: We have back-to-back company in town for a month straight. Or (my personal favorite): My home has been gutted, and I have to put it back together mostly by myself by the middle of June.

But I'm sure you don't want to be bogged down with such things, so I'll just say I've been playing at the beach, and we'll call it good. ;)

Really, I have been busy with tons of projects. Time to blog them has just mostly escaped me. I am contestant in the One Month to Win It competition this month, so I'll be posting this week's project as soon as the voting ends, and hopefully I'll be moving on to round 2! Can you guess which one is mine?

I also wanted to give a big thanks to Erin from In Between Laundry for sharing my wire basket tutorial on her blog last week! You should go check out her blog. She has some great projects!

And I have no idea how today got to be such a lucky day for me, but I'm posting tutorials at two big blogs today!!

Check out my burlap covered boxes at The CSI Project.

AAAANNNNNNDDD...((cue drumroll)...I'M POSTING A TUTORIAL ON TATERTOTS & JELLO!!

Ya'll know how much I've been loving clock make-overs. And ya'll know how much Jen (TT&J Queen) loves subway art...so I decided I'm going to make them for each of the seasons and big holidays, and she's so fabulous, she said she'd post my spring one!  Go check it out and tell me what you think!!

Thanks for being the most understanding friends. :)  I promise I'll be posting some fab stuff on my own actual blog soon!

Aloha,

Charlie

  1. I just came over from Tatertots and jello. Love your post there. I'll try not to harbor any resentment for your great weather while we have on and off rain and snow here in the Northeast. Love your clock and curtains, too.

Hope your daughter is feeling better very soon.

  6. Greetings from Southern California

I believe God put me on earth to accomplish a certain number of things and I will live until my work on earth is done. Visiting blogs is high on my list of things to do. Right now I am so far behind I don't think I will ever die! :-)

God bless you and have a nice day :-)

  8. Hi Charlie!

I was just coming by to say hello, and sorry for falling off of the face of the earth and all that!

You don't have to feel badly for having a life outside of blogging! We all really and truly understand! AND I am jumping-up-and-down excited for you about your guest posting on those blogs! Yea! I love both your clock and the burlap box! They are both amazing projects! :)

I hope you had a good weekend, and that your Monday is a wonderful one!

    Blessings,
    Jenni
